The guided visit to this winery in the municipality of Mafra, located 30 km from Lisbon, is performed by specialists.

We started the trip with the due historical background of the place where the winery is located, with special focus on the Jampal variety – the only one in the country and which is grown by this producer.

It is followed by a visit to the small museum of the winery, later the winery becomes the meeting place, because it is given to know the processes of harvesting and winemaking.

Then the visitors make a trip to the barrel room, which is inserted in an old elementary school recovered by the company.

Finally the visitors have the possibility of tasting the wine made with the exclusive grape variety of the place, the Premium tasting that includes 3 more wines from different regions where the company vinifies, one of them is a collector’s reserve.

The entire tasting is accompanied by cheese, sausages, olive oil and regional bread.

Then the visitors will depart towards the center of Mafra, where they will have their meal-lunch in a local restaurant that provides meals of traditional Portuguese cuisine and regional wines.

After lunch visitors will take a guided tour to the Convent of Mafra and also to the Convent’s Basilica.
