This program is accompanied by the author Vitor Marques, complementing the heritage and cultural history of the cafes with history of Porto, which is narrated in the 1st person, by the owner of each of them and experienced and recorded in the book or extracts provided by Travel Round Wine by the participants of this program.

This is a tourist experience that will take place between the 10th and 13th of June and will take place mainly in the city center, visiting the cafes with history, the Stock Exchange building classified by UNESCO as World Heritage and many other emblematic cultural equipment of the city, enjoying them and the city in a quiet way and outdoors, because we favor walking, whenever possible, using the Mercedes van transportation, only in situations that require it.

This unique proposal that Travel Round Wine presents to you, has as its meeting place the Oriente Station – Lisbon, however all those who wish may join us at the CP stations in the cities that are on the route that the Alfa Pendular train runs until it reaches our destination – Porto Campanhã.

The accommodation for those who join this program will be in one of the Pestana Collection hotels – A Brasileira, a 5 star hotel with a guarantee of service and hospitality of the highest quality, which our partner – the Pestana Group – provides whenever we use it for the accommodation of our visitors.
We also consider an enogastronomic experience with the seal of Chef Rui Paula, who provides us with a tasting of several moments of lunch in harmonization with the Douro wines.

Vila Nova de Gaia, the Dom Luís Bridge, the Port Wine Cellars and the WOW are also considered to be experienced by our participants in this program, with an exclusive visit to the Ferreira Cellars and in the dazzling WOW, we have opted for a guided and exclusive visit to the Chocolate Museum, where they have the opportunity to get to know the chocolate production process in its entirety.
Enjoy the waterfront and the view of the Douro River from Gaia and the typical regional cuisine and Douro wines at lunch.

The return to the port will be by cable car and on foot through the upper deck of the Ponte Dom Luis, where you will enjoy a breathtaking view of the Douro River at your feet.
On the last day of the program, contact with art in its fullness in its architectural expression and intrinsic knowledge of the Casa da Musica, through an exclusive guided tour for our group, which is done by Mercedes van, since this equipment is located a little further away from the city center. The rest of the day is free, however we return by Alfa Pendular to Oriente station in Lisbon.

The program includes:

• Accompaniment by the author and 2 companions;
• Guided tours to the Ferreira Cellars, WOW – Chocolate Museum and also a guided tour to the Casa da Musica;
• Transport in a Mercedes van for all trips where the use of a van is justified, with all safety and comfort conditions;
• Travel by Alfa Pendular train in 1st class between Oriente station and Campanhã- Oporto station and vice versa for the return on the 13th;
• Enogastronomic lunch at DOP restaurant – Chef Rui Paula;
• Lunch based on traditional cuisine in Vila Nova de Gaia;
• All taxes included according to the rates in force and VAT;
• Insurance;

The program does not include:

• Dinners and lunches two days;
• Other extra expenses;
• Gratuities;

Anything not included in the program:

• Expenses of an extra personal nature;

General considerations:

• All activities are accompanied by experts in the different areas that make up the experiences;
• The group is made up of 8 elements, however as we have defined a minimum of 2 participants, however the program can be carried out with this number of people which is equivalent to a specific budget for this purpose;
• Means of payment bank transfer;
• Guarantee of reservation with payment of the full value of the program, with the proof delivered up to 5 days before the realization of the same;
• In the event of any event that by force majeure prevents any member from completing the program, after the reservation has been made, its cancellation can only be made 5 days before the start of the trip;
• All supplements are paid separately;

 In case of non-fulfillment of the stipulated schedules for the trip and associated transports, the consequences resulting therefrom are under the client’s total responsibility;
