This program can start at Humberto Delgado – Lisboa Airport, at the Hotel where the visitant is staying (whether it belongs to our partnership network or not).

Then, visitors will head to Alenquer.

The estate visitors will visit is just 45 minutes from Lisbon. It’s an estate located in an old convent. The estate keeps the memory of the Islamic gardens of the end of the 10th Century. The ponds and water mirrors were used to cool down the residents in the hot summer days.

The estate also has a chapel with albarrados, blue and white tiles from the Joanine period, and those on the main altar from the rococo period, ordered by Teresa de Noronha – 1st wife of the Marquis de Pombal.

The estate has a hotel with spa, events room, vineyards, winery and other spaces that can be used and visited by Travel Round Wine clients, through walks and/or tours.
This program consists of a visit to the vineyards, winery and tasting of three premium red wines and one premium white wine, accompanied by cheese and regional bread.
Afterwards the visitor will have lunch at a local restaurant with regional cuisine and accompanied by regional wines.

This program also allows the visitor two of the most interesting museums in Alenquer after lunch.

In the afternoon
– Guided visit to the Wine Museum where you can taste other wines of the region;
– Guided visit to the Damião de Góis Museum and the victims of the inquisition.
